To complete the installation of the Warford transmission, the crew applied all of their skills. The shortend torque tube required modification of the radius rods and their attachments.


How about this new gas tank? We rebuilt the trunk floor, and installed a new galvantized gas tank.
New bearings were pressed into place, and a new axle was installed on the passenger side. This photo shows the inner workings of the differential. Large roller bearings are pressed into place and the gears are married.

Mechanical preparations



As part of the preparation for the Ocean to Ocean endurance run, we installed a Warford transmission. This project demanded we rebuild the rear end. A crew of experienced Model T hobbyists tore into Clara's frame, dismantelling the drive train.
